Role & Responsibilities

Able is a team of designers, product managers, and engineers that have started, grown, and sold technology companies. Together we build new ventures and transform existing businesses in partnership with investors. Our investor partners provide the capital, insight, and access to market opportunities; we provide the team capable of building digital products and technology solutions. Instead of building just one product and hoping that it will succeed, our business model is to build many products.

We’ve partnered with investors to build products for all sorts of companies. Everything from media to finance to toys to healthcare. Our teams work from our offices in New York City, San Francisco, and Lima, Peru.

Able is seeking a Recruiter to grow our New York City and San Francisco based teams.


  • Own candidate sourcing and candidate funnel management
  • Manage the candidate screening process to establish values-fit
  • Coordinate scheduling and candidate communication
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and interview teams to evaluate candidates
  • Measure diversity as part of recruiting process to build a high-functioning team
  • Execute recruiting across multiple functional groups
  • Establish candidate scoring and talent systems best practices
  • Help design our offer packages by understanding candidate needs and ensuring we put together our best possible offer
  • Facilitate the offer process
  • Interact with senior team members and contribute to strategic initiatives
  • Coordinate the candidate experience with our onboarding practices to ensure all of your candidates have a welcome and positive experience joining the company

  • Communicative: you are able to coordinate the needs of the company with the needs of a specific team (e.g. Engineering or Design)


  • 2+ years as a recruiter for startups, technology companies, or digital agencies
  • Experience working as a recruiter for a high-growth company
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple candidate searches simultaneously and develop scalable recruiting processes and systems
  • Driven, committed to improvement, and dedicated to learning
